I brought home a surprise from Petco today. Live crickets for Stewart the European Starling. I cut him off after about a dozen. I didn't want to over do it haha!

So, you have one of those amazing Starlings!
In this video, I'll share with you my daily routine of meal prep for my Starling, Stewart!
The ingredient list includes: eggs (powdered or cooked), crumbles (non-medicated), dog food (high protein) and dried crickets. LINKS BELOW

Other ingredients that I will use, but not shown in this video are: Rolaid tablet powdered for calcium, meal worms, veggies.

Stewart also enjoys stealing whatever I happen to be eating!

I've tried several grinders and the Hamilton Beach grinder in the video is the best! (under $20.00)

Stewart the European Starling and the Caique's, Herbie and Love Bug are getting to know each other on the bird play table. Stewart is 6 weeks old, Herbie is 20 weeks old and Love Bug is 22 weeks old. Love Bug decided to try a Starling diet of crickets, but Stewart snatched his dinner right out of Love Bug's beak! #parrotcoop
